The project
DMCI Homes’ first development in Central Visayas — and the largest open space in a residential condominium setting in Cebu.
The idea
A name that means joy
“Kalea” is Polynesian for joy and happiness. The flowing script logo stands for abundant lifestyle options; the green for growth and harmony in a landscape designed to fold a park into everyday living.

The developer
Built by the family that builds Cebu
DMCI Homes is part of DMCI Holdings, a publicly listed company founded by Engr. David M. Consunji — the man the industry calls the “Grandfather of Philippine Construction”. Its construction arm, D.M. Consunji Inc., helped deliver landmarks Cebuanos already use every day.
Cebu landmarks by DMCI
- Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (as part of the consortium)
- SM City Cebu
- Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa
- Ayala Life FGU Center
Track record

- 25 years in real estate development

Lumiventt design
Buildings that breathe
Lumiventt is DMCI Homes’ own technology: sky patios cut through the building every few floors, with a three-storey atrium drawing daylight and cross-breeze deep into the corridors.
It is not only about how the tower looks from the road. Naturally lit and ventilated common areas mean lower shared electricity costs and hallways that do not feel like corridors.
Engineering
Designed for this specific hillside
Beyond NSCP 2015 compliance, the structure was designed using Performance-Based Design against the actual site conditions, reviewed by international consultants.
